How it works
Booklets come with your child's tutoring lessons on Tuta. They aren't sold on their own.
Choose a Maths, English or Science tutor (or a VCE subject in Victoria) and add booklets.
Each week's booklet is posted the week before its lesson, so it's there in time.
Your child works through the explanation, examples and questions for that week of term.
Their tutor can go over the tricky parts and check the work together.
The launch collection
Your tutor can help pick the right topics. The order your school teaches things in may differ.
Practice and extension, from first numbers and letters to Year 10.
Explanations and practice across the secondary science topics.
Senior booklets for other states aren't part of the launch collection.
Aiming for a scholarship?
The programme behind Tuta's booklets also prepares students for high school scholarship and selective-entry tests, and many of its students have gone on to win scholarships and places at selective-entry schools.
Past results belong to the licensed programme, not to Tuta. Every student is different, and no booklet can guarantee a scholarship or a place.
An established programme. A new chapter with Tuta.
Tuta's booklets are licensed from an established tutoring programme that has taught more than 2,000 students in Victoria over more than two decades.
These figures belong to the licensed programme, not to Tuta. Results vary from student to student.A little more clarity
$19.99 a week per subject, postage included. It's paid together with your lessons, and only for weeks your child has a tutoring lesson booked in that subject. Tutoring fees are separate.
No. Booklets come with tutoring lessons on Tuta, so there's always a tutor to help with the hard parts.
No lesson that week means no booklet and no charge for it, including over the school holidays.
Yes. When you book a trial lesson, you can claim one free booklet for that subject. There's no card needed for it and it never turns into a paid plan on its own.
Each booklet is posted the week before its lesson, so it should arrive in time to work through.
If you cancel before that week's booklet is posted, the booklet's cost comes back to you as credit. Once it's posted, it's yours to keep.
They can. The programme behind them also prepares students for high school scholarship and selective-entry tests, and many of its students have won scholarships and places at selective-entry schools. Depending on the year level, booklets include scholarship practice sets, such as the Year 5 and 6 sets. Tell your tutor it's the goal and they can focus on those questions. Results vary, and no scholarship or place is guaranteed.
Maths and English for Prep–Year 10 and Science for Years 7–10, in every state. In Victoria, also six VCE subjects: Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Biology and Physics.
